Normann Copenhagen

Normann Copenhagen is a design company located in Denmark and run by Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen. True scandinavian minimalism, clean shapes, enjoyable forms and great functionality. I’ve always liked scandinavian design and this Normann Copenhagen website, their shop, attitude to details, aspiration for simplicity, calmness even in activity and motion -- this all is a great example of it. Everything is designed in their world. And by no means overdisigned. As they say about themselves -- “Normann Copenhagen is a way of living -- a mindset. We like to think of it as putting on a pair of glasses and seeing the world in a different way.”
Just the right amount of style, humor, usefulness and good taste -- webpage itself is a full satisfaction -- just sit back and watch, and hear the show. Every product and designer has it’s own showcase, music (Trentemøller, I guess) complements the visuals, page is easy to navigate and understand.
In 2005 they moved from their small design store to an old 1700m2 cinema where their Flagship Store was opened. Check out the store video below, notice the music, it’s harmony with the picture, and, of course, the amazing store itself. Pure relish.

Bergh

Innovative way of showing photographer’s portfolio. I like the way thumbnails fly away and leave the one I choose in the middle for a bigger preview.
Original site of danish photographer Anders Bergh can be found here.

Endless Loading

Endless loading fun – Pretty Loaded. Quite a big collection of load screens. By the way, some two or three times I got fooled (forgot the site’s purpose) and was actually waiting for something to open.

Remember When

A fun way of telling the world what kind or changes are happening and what kind of assholes are resisting them. This comic was published today on The Pirate Bay’s homepage. I’m following closely the spectrial going on in Sweden.
Nice place for updates on what’s new in torrent world – here. Including everyday news about spectrial against The Pirate Bay.
