Outside The Box
Be original, think outside the… ehhm… wait… Isn’t that what everybody says? Joseph Pelling offers some other versions in the video below.

I make pictures by cleaning… I have this weird thing about dirty surfaces where I look around for it all the time. I am a professor of dirt.
I’m a 42 years old teenager.
These are the words spoken by reverse graffiti artist Moose. And, basically, they say it all. Beautiful, original concept realised by -- what it feels like -- a calm and peaceful person who has found his vocation. More here.

This little angry buddy is Peabody by Scott Wickberg.
Wanted something light and cartoonish. It is raining today so the little cloud-buddy with a lightning bolt in his hand is the right answer.

With this post I’ll start to publish wallpapers that I have on my Mac’s desktop at the moment given. I’m very picky on what to put on my desktop, so quite frequently I spend an awful amount of time digging through various image/customize/skin/art/photo/etc websites on search for the one artwork that catches my eye and heart. And is at least in 1920×1200 resolution. And is pleasant to look at for a reasonably long time. And does not interfere with items on my desktop. So I thought it would be nice to share with you the ones I liked.
The first is this candy-girl that lives on my desktop since yesterday. Found it accidentally through some website that I can’t remember now. Anyway, her look and the whole naive style and concept of the drawing just fell into my heart. I’m usually more in to some minimalistic/techy/modern wallpapers, but this time I somehow instantly loved it – was in a happy mood and still am.
This beautiful girl with all good’n'nice in her mind (and probably soul as well) is work of artist Jared Nickerson. Name of the piece is Mother Nature. Looks more like a daughter to me, but still lovely, as well as other his works. Check them out by clicking on his name in this post.

London feeling in funky time lapse by David Hubert.
More than 3000 pictures have been taken in order to create this.
This is just purely fantastic! A beautiful wandering of a human mind, like a travel or a visualisation of ones thoughts.
A short film by Terri Timely.

n.
A condition in which one type of stimulation evokes the sensation of another, as when the hearing of a sound produces the visualization of a color.
A sensation felt in one part of the body as a result of stimulus applied to another, as in referred pain.
The description of one kind of sense impression by using words that normally describe another.
Minilogue’s tune Hitchhiker’s Choice. I adore the video and love the music.
Update: video made by Varelsen.
One day I net-surfed with keywords ‘drawing with light’ and found Lightmark. Calm, cold, crisp photos with almost spooky feeling – there is/was somebody there and yet all You can see are light-marks. But what a light-marks and what a landmarks. And landscapes. Looking at these photos they make me wanna teleport to these places immediately. And, as I found out here, exactly that feeling is authors Cenci Goepel’s and Jens Warnecke’s idea – Since the landscape at the location where the pictures are taken is the most important component of the final result, we would like to invite people to visit these places. What is more: we hope to encourage some people to visit these places at night, for that can be a very special experience.
Yeeah, I agree with them absolutely, there is that magic to be in the middle of a large field or by the sea, at night, in total silence. These photos give me the same extraordinary feeling.
